The Team

Without these crucial team members Hughy and I would not be a team.  Thank you for being there for us! We love you all, Hughy & Megan.

Mentor & Olympian, Christine Traurig

Christine is a vital part of our team.  She has been Megan's mentor for about four years.  Without Christine there would not be a partnership between Megan and No Doubt.  Christine had No Doubt in training and recommanded to Megan that she purchase him.  With Christine's help, Megan and No Doubt then went on to have a very successful 2007 competition, including competing at Dressage at Devon CDI and USDF Regionals.  Megan and No Doubt plan to return to Christine's excellant and top notch training to prepare for the 2008 show season.

BIO: Christine Traurig, who was born and raised in Hanover, Germany, is the mother of a son and a daughter and assisted American husband Bernie Traurig, in the training of international show jumpers for nearly 15 years. Traurig made her return to dressage competition in 1997 after a four-year absence from the sport. She turned in a solid performance at the 1997 Bayer /USET Festival of Champions, finishing eighth overall in the USET Grand Prix Championship presented by Rio Suite Hotel & Casino. She also rode Assini Bon to a fifth place finish in the Grand Prix Special. Christine Traurig was the final rider in the 2002 Sydney Olympic team dressage competition, rode Etienne, a 12-year-old, Westphalian gelding owned by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haas, to his best score ever and gave the U.S. Equestrian Team (USET) its third consecutive Olympic team Bronze Medal.

Farrier, Collin Gallagher

As a training facility, one of the responsibilities is to maintain top performance and quality care of all horses. Collin’s vast knowledge, experience, and dedication are paramount in operating Lindinhof Equine Sports Zentrum.

For the past 10 years, Collin has supervised the hoof care of all of Megan's horses. She has relied on Collin to come to Lindinhof every six weeks to care for the horses.  There may be an emergency at anytime, which he comes to repair the same day.  He has had to work on many different breeds and with different types of hoof conformations. Not only can he maintain a balanced hoof, but also he is able to do corrective shoeing. In addition, his focus to detail, Collin has improved the way my horses are performing.

Jeff Reeck, Sport Horse Massage

After months of research, Jeff choose, Equissage, of Round Hill, Virginia for his formal education.  Their program, quality of instructors and national reputation were second to none.  After 6 weeks of independent study, a week long trip to Virginia followed with an additional 50 hours with the instructors and hands on "in the barn" experience. The training was intense and demanding.  At the end of the week there were two written final exams and a hands on the horse demonstration final.  Of the eight people in the class that week only five came back with their certification.  Be assured that your horse is in the hands of a well trained practitioner.  After three years in the field Jeff has gained even more experience and have a list of satisfied customers.  Jeff has been vital to Hughy’s recovery.  Thank you!  www.sporthorsemassage.net
