Have you ever wanted to own the winning horse? Have you ever wanted to be apart of a team? Have you ever wanted to help someone succeed in their endeavors?
Well, you can. Today, all of our top Olympic equestrian athletes are sponsored. Not one of them owns their Olympic mounts. The costs involved in buying, maintaining, training, attending competitions and transportation exceeds their personal budgets and they ask for help from friends, relatives, companies, and individual sponsors.
On this website you will find that, an Olympic hopeful is asking for support. Her dream has always been to represent her country in the Olympics. There are numerous steps that one has to take. Please contact Megan to receive her proposal for the next step!
Demographics of the Equine Industry
According to AHC website, "The horse industry in the United States contributes $39 billion in direct economic impact to the US economy and supports 1.4 million jobs on a full-time basis, according to the study. When indirect and induced spending are included, the industry’s economic impact reaches $102 billion. The study also estimates the horse population in this country has reached 9.2 million."
USA Equestrian Membership (NGB): The memberships range from beginners to Olympians. The majority of the members are English riders. The typical member is approximately 40 years old, married, and owns at least one home. The average income of USA Equestrian households is $134,500.
